Troegs Brewery's newest Single Batch beer, Dreamweaver Wheat, has been reformulated thanks in part to Eckhard Kurbjuhn of BrauKon (the company that built and installed Troegs new brewhouse). When John Trogner was visiting Germany earlier this year, it happened to be his birthday. In honor of that special day, Eckhard gave John the recipe that became the inspiration for Dreamweaver. John and brother Chris made a few modifications, and the new Dreamweaver was born. It combines malted wheat with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas.
