Weyerbacher's Blithering Idiot Barley Wine is definitely on the malty side, without being overly sweet, and finishes warm and fruity. Blithering Idiot should be enjoyed in a brandy snifter or wine glass, preferably in front of the fire. This fine ale will keep for years. The expected maximum shelf-life is 3 to 5 years, although it might see a decade. It is brewed in limited quantities for sale during the winter months.
